ROTARY DISTRICT 50406

Welcome to Rotary

Your first months are the start of something good

Make your first months count

New members bring fresh ideas and experience. Use this suggested 30/60/90-day path to learn about your club, build friendships and find a meaningful way to serve. These are flexible milestones, not membership requirements. Ask your club to adapt them to its traditions, opportunities and your schedule.

Your first 30 days: get connected

Meet your president or membership chair and ask for a mentor or club contact. Confirm dues, meeting arrangements, communication channels and member access. Share your interests, skills and available time so the club can help you find a good fit.

By 60 days: try a service role

Attend a meeting, join a service activity or help a committee with a small task. Introduce yourself to someone new each time. You do not need to take on everything at once; choose a manageable contribution and build from there.

By 90 days: explore the wider network

Explore district training, youth programs, Foundation projects and events. Visit another club when it fits your schedule. Ask your mentor how Rotary connects local service with a wider network of people and ideas.

Keep learning and stay connected

Open member resources for learning, club leadership, branding and project guidance. Ask your club for its member handbook and current calendar.
