Volunteer With Rotary

Make a difference, one project at a time

Service starts with a local connection

You can lend a hand before becoming a member. Rotary clubs bring neighbors together for practical service, from reading support and food distributions to community cleanups. Start with a local club and ask which projects welcome guests.

Choose a cause you care about

Explore our impact page for sample project ideas. Tell a club what interests you, how much time you can offer, and whether you prefer a one-day activity or an ongoing role. Project opportunities and schedules vary by club.

Prepare for your first project

Ask the organizer about the meeting point, duration, accessibility, clothing, equipment and any costs. Confirm age requirements and whether registration, screening or training is needed. Bring only the supplies the organizer requests.

Put your skills to work

Hands-on volunteering is one way to help. Planning, translation, photography, mentoring and technical expertise can also support a project. Discuss the task and expected time with the organizer before committing.

Find your next opportunity

Browse local clubs and events and service opportunities. Contact the organizing club to confirm whether guests can participate.
